EXOSOMES: Key carriers of intracellular communication
Building on our latest research and publications in prestigious scientific journals, we are delving deeper into the role of exosomes — small membrane vesicles — in intercellular communication. These nanoparticles play a vital part in the transfer of proteins, lipids and nucleic acids between cells, thereby influencing physiological and pathological processes. The ability to understand and manipulate exosomes opens up new possibilities in regenerative medicine, diagnostics and targeted therapy for various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.
Exosomes also show great potential as biomarkers for the early detection and monitoring of tumour progression.
